The Education and School Law Practice, led by Brian Leinhauser, a former school teacher, is experienced in representing school districts, charter schools, private institutions, colleges, and daycare centers. We perform internal investigations when necessary and maintain communication with school leaders and board members regarding ongoing concerns and issues of immediate need. The best interest of the school and its students serves as our guide for all our representations.

We defend schools and educational institutions in all manner of litigation including Title IX matters, cases before the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), federal and state courts, and state agencies such as the Pennsylvania Department of Education, the Pennsylvania Charter School Appeal Board, and various school district boards.

We have successfully defended school employers in Title VII claims and other federal litigation and provided handbook review and human resources training and audits to clients to ensure their compliance with these ever-changing areas of the law.
